Eligibility Criteria & Admission Procedure

    Graduate (10+2+3) and above with a minimum 50% from a UGC recognized University. Those who have appeared for the final year examination of graduation can also apply.
    The students are required to submit the duly filled in application form at the SVPITM Centre in Coimbatore with the following documents attached:
•    Proof of qualification (Provisional certificate copy in case the degree certificate is not available)
•    Proof of Date of Birth
•    CAT / CET / MAT / ATMA / XAT / OPENMAT Score Card (students who have appeared for any of those entrances in the last year only are considered)

    Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will have to appear for an entrance exam. Candidates who have already appeared for entrance exam CAT / CET / MAT / ATMA / XAT / OPENMAT held in the last year need not appear the entrance exam conducted by IGNOU and SVPITM. However, they have to attach the copy of the score sheet along with the application form. There is no specific cut off score required in CAT / CET / MAT / ATMA / XAT to apply. This category of applicants is required to appear for Group discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

    Candidates shortlisted from the written test will be called for a Group discussion and Personal Interview.

•    Candidates qualifying the Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be sent an ‘Admission Letter’ from the office of SVPITM. The selected candidates at the time of admission will have to submit the following documents:

•    Attested photo copy of Graduation Certificate and Mark Sheet
•    Demand Draft drawn in favour of SVPITM payable at Coimbatore
•    Original certificates for verification. The originals will be returned after verification.
•    Two Passport size photographs for the purpose of ID Card

•    Candidates have to be physically present for admission at SVPITM Campus.

Fee structure

The students have the choice of paying the entire course fee initially or can pay semester wise as given below.

•    1st Semester: Rs.50000/-

•    2nd Semester: Rs.50000/-

•    3rd and 4th Semester: Rs.100000/- (3rd and 4th semester fees to be paid together)

The payments has to be made by Demand Draft in favour of SVPITM payable at Coimbatore and is required to be submitted at the campus allotted to the student. Support in getting bank study loan will be offered on request.

Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Fellowship: Rs. 8,000/- p.m. to 2 students each from Andaman and Nicobar Islands and North-East States. The application of those candidates shall be forwarded by the concerned Health/AYUSH Deptt of the States/UT. However, the candidate may send an advance copy of their application to MDNIY.

Hostel: The Institute will provide hostel facility for 25 meritorious students (States other than Delhi and NCR) on same conditions. The boarding and lodging charges will be Rs. 2,500/- per month.
