Eligibility: 
Candidates who have qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) (conducted jointly by the IITs and IISc. Bangalore) for M.Tech. Programmes and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) (conducted by the M.S. University of Baroda, Varodara on behalf of AICTE, New Delhi) for M.Pharm Programme and who, in addition, possess the requisite qualifications as indicated in the Brochure for the respective department/school, are eligible respectively for admission to Post-Graduate programme leading to M.Tech./M.Pharm. degree. Candidates whose B.Tech./B.E./B.Pharm. results are not yet declared or who are due to appear in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply. However, at the time of test/interview/counselling they are required to produce a certificate from the institution concerned to the effect that they have  completed all requirements of the qualifying  examination before the date of test/interview/counselling. There should be no examination, what-so-ever, pending for a later date. Admission of all such candidates shall be provisional, till they produce documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination. If such evidence (mark-sheet) is not produced by 30th September, their provisional admission will stand cancelled automatically without any further notice.  

Candidates will also have to fulfill other conditions as detailed on pages 2-8 of the 

Information Brochure.

Duration: 4 ½ years

2) Bachelor of Occupational therapy (BOT)

Duration: 4 ½ years

Educational Qualification: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry Biology and English (PCBE), provided the candidate pass each subject separately. 

3) Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO)

Duration: 4 ½ years

Educational Qualification: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry Biology/Mathematics & English (PCBE/PCME), provided the candidate pass each subject separately.

Eligibility Qualification:  SSC Examination of CBSE or equivalent (10+2) with 50% or more marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST/PH and CWAPP category in the aggregate of four subjects viz. PCBE for BPT/BOT and PCBE/PCME for BPO, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately.  The candidates appearing/appeared in the 10+2 examination may also apply.   However, it is subjected to their clearance of qualifying examination with required percentage of marks before declaration of result of entrance test.

The candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination before the year 2008-2009 and have discontinued their regular studies for more than 3 years are not eligible to appear in the entrance test.

Age as on 01.08.2011 :
Minimum 17 years of age & Maximum of 23 years of age  for General Category, 28 years of age  in case of SC/ST/PH category

Age: Only those candidates, whose date of birth falls on or before 31st December, 1994 (minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2011) are eligible to apply. Only date of birth recorded int he High School/ICSE or its equivalent certificate will be accepted. The Upper Age limit shall be 25 years as on 31.12.2011.
Minimum Qualification: The candidates must have passed the 10+2, i.e. C.B.S.E/I.S.C/Intermediate Board Examination or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of such study, comprising of physics, chemisty biology/biotehcnology and English from a recognized Board. The Candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 60% (For SC/ST/OBC candidates 50%) marks in aggregate taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnolgy and atleast 50% (For SC/ST/OBC candidates 40%) marks separately in each of the above subjects in the qualifying examination. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination and whose results are not yet available, are also eligible to appear in the PMEE-2011 but such candidates should submit the marksheet of the qualifying exmaination on or before 15.06.2011, such candidates shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS course, if they do not fulfill the eligibility criteria.

How To Apply:
Application Procedure:
The candidate has to buy ASBM application form along with the information bulletin & programme brochure on payment of Rs 950/- (Rupees nine hundred fifty only) by hand from our corporate office or campus. Application form can also be downloaded from our website at www.asbm.ac.in. Candidates seeking admission to our Post Graduate Programmes will have to qualify either in CAT/MAT/ATMA. Based on the performance in CAT/MAT/ATMA and past academic performance, the candidate will be short listed for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection of candidate to the programme will be based on the performance of the candidate in GD and PI.

Admission Offer:
Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection after the group discussion and personal interview are over. The selected candidates must pay their first installment by the stipulated date mentioned in the offer letter; otherwise they would forfeit their seat to the person next on the waiting list.

Fee:
The current Fee payable by admitted students for the 2-year PGDM programmes is Rs. 5,68,500/- for ASBM Bhubaneswar and Rs. 5,48,500/- for ASBM Hyderabad inclusive of text books/course materials, academic resources, boarding and fooding, finishing school and caution money etc. The students are provided with laptop and corporate attire by the Institute.

Tenth Postgraduate Diploma Course in Print Journalism (TPDCPJ)

Eligibility:
Applicants to the course must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Students who have appeared in their final examination may also apply. However, they will have to furnish adequate proof of graduation for their admission to be regularised.

Selection
Candidates aspiring to join the course are expected to have a good academic record, a keen interest in current affairs and politics, a deep commitment to journalism as a career and sound writing skills. Admission will be on the basis of a candidate’s performance in a written test and an interview.
How To Apply:
Request for the prospectus and application form should be accompanied by a demand draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of MASCOM, payable at Kottayam, Kerala.
Completed applications in the prescribed form along with two Admit Cards must reach the address given below on or before April 30 2011.

ENTRANCE TEST
The entrance test will be held at the following centres: Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi, Kozhikode, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore & Dubai (UAE).
The test will consist of two parts. Both sessions will be held on April 17, 2010.The forenoon session will be from 10.00 to 12.30 and will focus on language skills and journalistic aptitude. The afternoon session will be from 2.15 to 5.00 and will concentrate on general knowledge.
Candidates will be intimated of the exact venue, date and time of the written test by means of the Admit card, which candidates must bring with them to the test centres as proof of identity.
Candidates without the Admit Card may not be permitted to write the examination.
Candidates must report at the test centre at least 15 minutes before the starting time.

RESULTS
Successful candidates will be required to appear for an interview in Kottayam at their own expense. Interview will be conducted in the Seminar  room at MASCOM. Test result will be intimated to successful candidates at the conclusion of the interviews.

CHECKLIST FOR APPLICATION
Ensure the following while filling the application form:
·          Write legibly in BLOCK LETTERS in your own handwriting
·          Affix a recent passport size colour photograph

·          Indicate clearly your 1st and 2nd choices of examination centres
·          Affix signature in black or blue ink
·          Fill up both copies of the Admit Card and affix passport size photograph.
·          Superscribe “MASCOM Application” clearly on the envelope.
·          Do NOT submit original proof of age or degree certificate or mark list along with the application.
·          Originals of these documents are required to be produced only at the time of interview.

PAYMENTS
All payments to MASCOM shall be by means of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of MASCOM and payable at Kottayam..

BOARDING AND LODGING
Admitted students will be accommodated in comfortable, furnished quarters arranged by MASCOM at reasonable rent and they can avail of meals provided in the MASCOM canteen at subsidised rates.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
1.      A candidate who is a full-time employee or a student in another course shall not be eligible for admission.
2.      MASCOM reserves the right to cancel a candidate’s admission if it is proved that:
3.      The candidate submitted false documents or cheated in the entrance test.
4.      The candidate has a criminal record that became known only later.
5.      MASCOM reserves the right to cancel any test centre and to assign the candidate to another centre.
6.      The decision of the MASCOM Admission committee concerning the selection of a candidate will be final and binding.
7.      MASCOM reserves the right to reject any application found incomplete or otherwise deficient.
8.      MASCOM reserves the right to make changes to one or more of the regulations listed above.
