NCERT LDC Jobs Vacancy Notification Lower Division Clerk Jobs

Vacancy Notice

NCERT invites applications for the post of LDC in the Pay Band-I of Rs. 5,200-20,200 plus Rs. 1900 at the NCERT Headquarter, New Delhi for 24 vacancies (12-UR, 8-OBC, 3-SC, and 1-ST) out of these 24 vacancies 01 will be reserve for HH( under PH Category). The vacancy position is tentative & likely to change. The eligibility conditions are as under:

1. Essential Qualification: (i) 12th pass or equivalent qualification from a Govt. recognized boards/university. ii) Typing Skill of Computer (English Typing @ 35 w.p.m. or Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

2. Age Limit: Between 18 and 27 years of age as on 01.01.2010 (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC as per orders of Govt. of India). There will be no age limit for regular staff of NCERT. Fee to be submitted with application of Rs. 200/- (No fee for SC/S and PH).

3. Method of Recruitment: By direct recruitment, on the basis of Written and Typing Skill Test on Computer in the manner as may be prescribed by the Council from time to time. Those who will qualify in Written Test will be called for Typing Skill Test. Merit list of Candidates qualifying Written Test and Typing Skill Test will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Written Test.

Employees serving in Govt/Semi Govt./Autonomous organization should send their application through proper channel. However, they may submit an advance copy of their application directly.

Note: Those who have already applied in response to Advertisement dated December’ 2007 in Employment News need not submit fresh application for this Post. The eligible candidates may send in their application duly signed along with attested copies of testimonials/certificates with the latest passport size photograph pasted on application indicating (i) Full name in block letters, (ii) Father’s/Husband’s name (iii) Educational qualifications, (iv) Details of service rendered in Govt./Semi-Govt./Autonomous organization, if any, (v) Whether belongs to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-serviceman category, (vi) Complete postal address and signature of the applicant along with attested copies of certificates of qualifications and experience etc. and a crossed Bankers Cheque/DD of Rs. 200/- (no fee for SC/ST/PH candidates ) in favour of Secretary, NCERT, payable at New Delhi, should reach the Under Secretary, E-II at the address given above within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Incomplete applications or applications received after the closing date will not be entertained. Applications should be sent through ordinary post only.

The NCERT also drafts, publishes and recommends school text books (from Class I to Class XII) of various subjects based on the recommendations of knowledgeable faculty in the subject.
