LLB (Three year course) and LLM Entrance Test 2011
The Entrance Tests for admission to first year of L.L.B. (Three year degree course) and L.L.M for the year 2011-2012 will be held in Delhi.
L.L.B. Date of Entrance Test : Sunday, 12th June 2011
Eligibility: Graduate/Post Graduate degree with 50% marks for General & OBC candidates; Relaxation upto 5% marks for Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates; 45% marks for widows/wards of ex-servicemen/serving personnel (CW); and degree with pass marks for SC/ST Candidates.
L.L.M. Date of Entrance Test: Sunday, 19th June 2011
Eligibility: LLB degree (3 years/5 years course) with 50% marks for General & OBC candidates; Relaxation upto 5% marks for PH and 45% marks for SC/ST/CW candidates.
Last date to apply: 16th May 2011 (By hand) and 12th May 2011 (by post)

About Delhi University
Established in 1922 Delhi University was only a residential, teaching and unitary university formed by an Act of the acting Central Legislative Assembly with only three colleges under its jurisdiction namely Ramjas College started in 1917, Hindu College started in 1899 and St. Stephan’s College started in 1881. It had just about 750 students and only two faculties namely Science and Arts.
It has now grown into a premier University of India and its high research and teaching standards are known across the world. Numerous scholars are attracted to Delhi University from all parts of world besides its students are recognized all over the world. East Campus will focus on College of Medical Science as nucleus whereas Technology and Engineering will be of major focus in West Campus.
Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Physics, Sociology and Economics were the six awarded centers for advanced studies by Grants Commission and are now being converted into their excellent performance in research and teaching arenas, are major areas to be proud of for Delhi University. The University has more than 15 libraries besides libraries maintained by each college as separate and have vide collection of almost all related fields and subjects. The University Science Instrumentation Centre (USIC) maintains a quality of standards by having numerous sophisticated instruments for research and teaching, thereby making Delhi University amongst top in World Class Segment. Adding feather to its cap Delhi University has completed its large and dream project of fiber-optic networks of South and North Campuses.
