The University invites applications for five years integrated B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.) Degree Programmes & Conjoint LL..M – Ph.D Program for the academic year 2011- 2012, commencing on 11th July, 2011.
B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.) Undergraduate Degree Programmes:
ELIGIBILITY : Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. (SC / ST candidates can apply with 45% marks). Those who have appeared for the qualifying examination in March / April, 2011 may also apply).
AGE LIMIT : Below 21 years as on 1st August, 2011 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates)
TOTAL SEATS : 60 seats each for B.A.LL.B. (Hons) & B.B.A. LL.B (Hons.)
CATEGORY : General 78, Scheduled Tribes-14, Scheduled Castes-10, Persons with disabilities-4, Foreign Nationals-4, NRI/NRI Sponsored-10. Total Seats : 120
Admission Test Question Paper pattern for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.): The NLUO Admission Test for the session 2011-12 will test students in his/her knowledge on current affairs, skill in critical analytical thinking, logical analysis and numerical ability. Past academic record is relevant only for purposes of eligibility. The test is designed to determine general cognitive ability and its articulation; abilities NLUO considers essential for its rigorous academic programmes. The entrance test will be of 200 Marks.

National Law University, Orissa (NLUO) is the newest addition to the list of the National Law Universities in India. It is located at Cuttack, Orissa.
The university is presently situated in temporary premises along the Mahanadi river, towards the north-west of the city’s present limits. It is scheduled to move to a new purpose-built campus at Naraj, a location being developed as an institutional area. It is heartening to know that despite the very brief time in which the university was set up, it has received positive responses from across the country. In its very first year, it has admitted students from 25 states, representing a diverse range of socio-economic, ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. NLUO hopes that, in the years to come, students from even more diverse backgrounds will join NLUO, thereby underscoring its truly national character
