Walk-in interview for
Research Associate

The Institute invites suitably qualified and dedicated candidates to attend a walk-in interview for one position of Research Associate to work in a project entitled “Immune function in infancy - special focus on low birth weight and small for date infants and the role of Vitamin D deficiency” at the Pediatric Biology Centre, THSTI. The duration of the project is initially for 6 months (with a possibility of extension) on contract on monthly Fellowship of Rs.22,000 to 24,000/- + HRA.
Job Description:
The project involves the use of cellular, biochemical and molecular approaches to evaluate immune function as well as to estimate micronutrient levels in human umbilical cord blood.
Qualifications: Required: The candidate should have a postgraduate degree in the medicine or a PhD in biological sciences, and should have a good academic record.
Desired: Experience in one/more areas listed below is desirable:
Flow cytometry
Human pathology or nutritional biochemistry.
