Last date for submission of Application is 19th 05, 2011
Educational Qualifications:-
1. A Degree in B.E. Civil or Mechanical of a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a Provincial Act or Institution recognized by the UGC.
OR
2. B.Sc (Engineering) degree of the Benares Hindu University; or
3. A pass in sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the AMIE (India) Civil Examination.
4. L.C.E. Diploma or any other equivalent Diploma of any recognized Institute;
OR
5. LME., Diploma of any recognized Institute;
OR
6. LSE, Diploma awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training. Provided that the recruitment of persons with LME Diploma of any Institution recognized by the Government in any year shall not exceed 10% of the total number of estimated vacancies in that year.

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was formed when the State of Andhra Pradesh formed on November 1, 1956. Earlier the commission was known as the Andhra Service Commission (formed in 1953)which based on the regulations of Madras Public Service Commission. Later in 1956, APPSC was formed by merging the Andhra and Hyderabad Public Service Commissions.
