Post-graduate Diploma in Radio and Television Journalism (PGDRTJ)
Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism (Hindi) [New Delhi]
Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism (English)
Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism (Oriya)
Post-graduate Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations (PGDAPR)

Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Those who have appeared/appearing in final degree Examinations are also eligible to apply.
Date of Birth: 1.8.1986 or later (for SCs/STs/PH 1.8.1981 or later and for OBC 1.8.1983 or later).
No. Of Seats:  Five seats available for NRIs/NRIs sponsored candidates, for which a separate prescribed application form should be submitted.
Reservation of Seats: As per Government of India Orders for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates.
Medium of Instruction and Examination: Hindi and/or English and Course No. 5 in Oriya.
Hostel: At Delhi Campus: Limited accommodation only for outstation girl candidates. At Dhenkanal: Facilities available for both boys and girls.
Entrance Examination: 24 May, 2011 at New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Patna, Lucknow, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati centres. Oriya Journalism Exam will be held on 25 May 2011 at Bhubaneshwar Centre only.
Interview: Last week of June/First week of July, 2011 - at New Delhi

About Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC)
The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is India's premier media school funded and promoted by the Government of India. IIMC is an autonomous society under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The institution was established on August 17, 1965 with support from UNESCO.
IIMC has two branches, one in Delhi and the other in Dhenkanal (Orissa). The institute stands ahead of others in its infrastructure and permanent faculty status. The per faculty student ratio is pegged at about 1:8, better than any Indian media school. The Institute attracts maximum applications than any Indian media school. Only 1 out of 100 applicants stand a chance to get admitted.[6] Most prominent faculties include Senior Journalist Prof. Shivaji Sarkar, Prof. KM Srivastava, Dr. J Jethwaney, Prof. S Raghavachari, Dr. Gita Bamezai, and Dr. Anand Pradhan. Media personality Sunit Tandon is the present director of IIMC.
