Eligibility:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE) in teaching/industry/research organization.

Reservation: 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates, 7.5% seats for ST candidates and 3% for disabled candidates. Reservation for OBCs (27%) will be implemented as per instructions of Govt. of India applicable to Central Educational institutions.

How To Apply:

Full time sponsored Polytechnic/Engineering College Teachers. Officials of the State Directorates and Boards of Technical Education, NITTTRs, universities (both for Modular and Regular) and working professionals from Industry/Other Organizations (only for Regular) are eligible for admission Full detail about Eligibility, Reservation, Programme Structure etc. can be obtained from Prospectus / institute website: www.nitttrchd.ac.in. Few seats (under Regular only) for Fresh candidates shall be admitted through GET conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh

PROSPECTUS with application forms can be obtained (may also be downloaded from our website on or after 01.04.2011; such applications must accompany a demand draft of Rs. 500/-) from the institute either on payment of Rs. 600/- in cash or by sending a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 650/- in favour of Director, NITTTR, Chandigarh along with a self addressed envelope of size 25x20 cms. Separate application is to be submitted along with fees for each programme.

Session for Modular Programmes will start from 09.06.2011 

Last date of receipt of applications is 04.05.2011.

Merit list of the candidates will be uploaded in the institute website for Modular Programmes on 23.05.2011.

Counseling for these Modular Programmes will be held on 31.05.2011 at 10 00 am in the Institute auditorium.

Session for Regular Programmes will start from 14.07.2011

Last date of receipt of applications is 15.06.2011.

Merit list of the candidates will be uploaded in the institute website for Regular Programmes on 01.07.2011

Counseling for these Regular Programmes will be held on 12.07.2011 at 10.00a.m. in the institute auditorium.

The requisite fee for the above programmes will have to be deposited on the spot (either in cash or through Demand Draft) failing which the seat will be allotted to the next candidate in the merit list. The institute reserves the right of admission entirely and the decision of the institute authorities on Admissiam will be final,

National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training and Research (Formerly TTTI), Chandigarh is one of the four institutes established by the Government of India in 1967 for the development of technical education in the country with focus on the states of the Northern Region. The institute had the collaboration of the Royal Netherlands Government for a period of seven years in the initial stage.

The institute is an autonomous organization registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860.It is managed by a Board of Governors. Director is the executive head of the institute.

The institute is situated in a well developed campus in Sector-26,Chandigarh covering an area of over 6.667 hectares. The institute has also residential campuses in Sector-26,29 and 42.The institute is about 5km from Chandigarh Railway Station as well as Inter State Bus Terminus.
