Eligibility: IIIT-Delhi is looking for candidates who have solid foundations in CS/Maths, good programming expertise, and interest in pursuing research in one of the above mentioned areas. Eligibility criteria for applying:
First Division through out class X, XII and professional degrees is highly desirable.
Preference will be given to the candidates who have graduated within the last two years.
Gate score is optional.

Collaborative PhD Program: A student in the collaborative PhD program has an opportunity to collaborate with renowned universities and labs across the world, and may be required to spend some time at the partner group/institution for research purpose. More details about the program are given here. This year the collaborative program focuses on the following areas:
Image Analysis and Biometrics
Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing
Security and Privacy
Information Management and Analytics

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (aka. IIIT-Delhi or IIIT-D) was created as a State University by an act of Delhi Government (The IIIT Delhi Act, 2007) empowering it to do research and development and grant degrees. The transit campus of IIIT Delhi is on the 3rd Floor of the Library Building of NSIT, where over 15000 sq ft of space is available to IIITD. The interiors have been specifically planned for IIIT purposes and contain administrative offices, faculty offices, class rooms, computer labs, and some recreation facilities like TT table and a pool table. NSIT also allows limited use of its sports fields for IIIT students. Through NSIT, some hostel rooms are also available for IIITD students.
Construction of the Permanent Campus has already started in Okhla, where the Institute has been allotted 25 Acres of land in the GB Pant Polytechnic compound. The Phase I of the Campus will come up in the next 15 months at a cost of appx. Rs 80 crore, and will have a total area of appx 30000 sqm containing an R&D block, an academic block, boys and girls hostels, a student activity center with food court and other facilities, and a faculty residence block
