International level sportspersons to get direct admission at DU
New Delhi: The Delhi University (DU) is planning on giving direct admission under the sports quota across all colleges for DU aspirants who have participated in international sporting events.
According to the fresh admission guidelines that had been issued by the university administration for the current academic session, colleges will be allowed to conduct their own sports trials instead of the university holding centralized ones.

The University of Delhi is a central university situated in Delhi, India and is funded by Government of India. Established in 1922, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. Vice-President of India Mohammad Hamid Ansari is the Chancellor of the university. It has been ranked 371 in the whole world in the year 2010 by the THES - QS world universities ranking.
