Admission Process of PGM-CET 2011 for Postgraduate MD/MS/Diploma Courses

(PERSONAL COUNSELING ROUND)

In compliance to the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India order in WP(C) no.197/2011 & 229/2011 dated 13th May 2011, there will be an extended 2nd Round of PG counseling 2011 from 4th June 2011 to 19th June 2011 under 50% All India Quota - 2011.

In view of the above stated Extended second round of 50% All India Quota seats, the schedule to fill State Quota seats by Personal Counseling round will be as per below stated schedule.

Date 22/06/ 2011 Up-to 5.00 p.m.

: The candidate who has joined a seat of 50% All India quota in the State of Maharashtra, and wishes to surrender, should surrender his/her seat so as to be eligible for Personal Counseling Round and PGM-CET-2012 (i.e. next PGMCET).[As per the rules of PGM-CET-2011 (Rule No. 13.4.2 (d))]

24/06/2011 At. 6.00 p.m

: All colleges to send vacancy of All India quota seats to DMER.

25/6/2011 After 5.00 p.m.

: Display of following Vacancy

1) Seats available after first round.

2) Non Allotted / Non-Joined / Resigned seats of state quota after 1st round.

3) Non Allotted / Non-Joined / Resigned seats of 50% All India return to State

Quota after 24/6/2011.

4) Unallotted PH quota seats.

5) Unallotted In-service quota seats if any.

26/6/2011 upto 5.00 p.m.

: Submission of Status Retention Form at respective Institute.

(Retention form submitted before 26/06/2011 stands cancelled.

All the desirous candidates should submit fresh Status Retention Form.)

27/6/2011 8.00 p.m.

: Display of all seats available for Personal Counseling Round

(These seats will be excluding the seats retained by the candidates by way of filling Status Retention Form between 25/06/2011 to 26/06/2011)

Time 9.00 a.m. , State Merit Number 1 to 600

Time 1.30 p.m. , State Merit Number 601 to 1400

Wednesday, 29 / 06 / 2011 :

Time : 9.00 a.m. , State Merit Numbe 1401 to 3000

Time 1.30 p.m. , State Merit Number 3001 to 6406

Time 5.00 p.m. , Inter-Se round If seat/s of constitutional Reservation remain vacant

All those candidates to whom a seat has been allotted in the first round of PGM-CET 2011 should note that the Status Retention filled prior to 25/06/2011 stands cancelled. The candidates who are desirous to retain their seat should fill it again (even if previously filled) so as to retain their seat.

The selection process will be according to the rules of PGM-CET 2011. All the desirous candidates who are eligible as per the rules should attend the personal counseling round according to the above schedule. The candidates should bring all the original documents for verification as per the rule no. 12.2.3 of PGM- CET 2011 information brochure.

Candidates who have already joined a PG Course through PGM-CET 2011 and not submitted status retention form should bring a certificate issued by the institute where he/she has joined, stating that the original certificates have been retained by it.

Candidates should note that they have to confirm the admission immediately after allotment of seat by paying Rs.1000/- in cash as admission fee and deposit all the original documents at the time of personal counseling.
