Indira Gandhi National Open UniversityIGNOU is known as Indira Gandhi National Open University. This is a nationalized open university in India. University was formed in 1985 under the Indira Gandhi National Open University Act which was approved in Indian Parliament in 1985. IGNOU is located at New Delhi. The University offers nearly 175 different programmes which are of Diploma, Degree level. IGNOU also has 21 schools in all over India. IGNOU also has 2600 study centers across the India and 52 centers in abroad countries. The aim of the IGNOU is to provide the education to the people from rural area.
