Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
Eligibility:
Students with Rajasthan domicile has to appear in Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPETAP) and based on the merit in the test they gets the chance to take admission in different branches.
Some seats are reserved for the students having domicile other than Rajasthan State of India. The selection is purely based on the merit list of the All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE), conducted by C.B.S.E on behalf of M.H.R.D., New Delhi.
There is also a provision for admission of Diploma Holders in second year. Admission to this category is done by Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Rajasthan on the basis of merit in Diploma course.

Rajasthan Technical University was setup in 2006 by the Govt. of Rajasthan to enhance technical education in Rajasthan. The university is situated on Kota-Rawatbhata Road, about 10 Km from Kota Bus Stand and 14 Kms from Kota Railway Station. It is located in the city of Kota, which is approximately 500 km from New Delhi.
The university has been established in the campus of University College of Engineering, Kota (previously known as Engineering College, Kota), which is located on the Rawatbhata Road,Kota, Rajasthan.
