SMIT is preferred by many students across India who has enrolled their names in various engineering courses. There are over 102 full-time employees in the institute. Sikkim Manipal University Director of Distance Education which is very well known as SMU-DDE. It was established in 2001 to achieve their motto to make education available to masses which will help serve growing demand of professionals.
