CBSE will declare AIEEE 2011 Results on June 7, 2011

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), is an examination organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India. 

As declared by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), 50% of the seats in NITs will be filled from AIEEE eligible candidates of states where NITs are located and the remaining 50% will be filled on All India Merit basis.Where as for IIIT's all of the seats are being filled through All India Merit Basis.

The MHRD also plans to set up new NITs in states that do not have any as of now. In case NITs are not built by the time admissions start for AIEEE 2010, then seats will be made available for eligible students of such states/UTs which do not have any NIT, so as to keep the number of seats for such states/UTs at the level of 2007, after making due adjustment for the number of seats filled by eligible candidates of these states/UTs.
