Delhi Transco Ltd.(DTL), is the State Transmission Utility (STU) with the strategic responsibility to undertake smooth intra-state Transmission of electricity in NCT of Delhi. DTL is entrusted to build, maintain and operate an efficient, coordinated and economical 400/200KV network to meet the power demand of Delhi. State Load Despatch Centre, an apex body which ensures integrated operation of the power system within the state is also controlled by DTL. Powered by a dynamic and dedicated workforce, DTL has set high standards of performance and is profit making STU.

Applications are invited from eligible officers for appointment on deputation

basis in Delhi Transco Limited ( A Govt. of NCT of Delhi Undertaking) on the post of Asstt. Manager (Finance), in the Pay band of Rs. 19,000-39,100/-( Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-) with Central D.A. pattern and other allowances like House Rent/Accommodation/Conveyance facility/Medical/LTC, etc. as per the rules of the Company, on usual terms & conditions issued by Govt. of India from time to time, from amongst:-

Officers of the Organized Accounts Departments, who have successfully qualified SAS (Commercial) and having 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity in Accounts, Finance/Audit work.

Or

Officers of the Public Sector Undertakings with CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) qualifications with 3 years experience in Accounts/Audit/Finance.

Age : Below 56 years( as on the last date of receipt of applications)

About Delhi Transco Limited

Delhi Transco Limited is the State Transmission Utility for the National Capital Territory of Delhi. It is responsible for the transmission of power at 220 kV and 400 kV level and for upgrading, operating and maintaining the high voltage network.

The position is that as per available records, the first diesel Power Station was established in Delhi in the year 1905 when a private English Company by name M/s. John Fleming was given permission to generate electricity under the provisions of the Indian Electricity Act 1903. The above mentioned Company was given the responsibility both of generation and distribution of power in a limited manner. That Company after obtaining license under the provisions of Electricity Act 1903 had set up a small 2 MW Diesel set at Lahori Gate in Old Delhi. Later on, this very Company was converted as Delhi Electricity Supply and Traction Company.
