Applications are invited for filling up the following temporary technical/Administrative posts at IARI Hq., New Delhi and its Regional Stations /
Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) – Shikohpur, Gurgaon under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research :
General instructions for candidates:-
1. These posts are Non-Government but pensionable under New Pension Schemes introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f. 1.1.2004 and service conditions are mutatis mutandis as applicable to Indian Council of Agricultural Research employees and as amended from time to time.
2. All posts are temporary but likely to continue and transferable to any where in India in any of the Regional Station of IARI / Research Institute/ NRCs/ Directorate etc. of ICAR.
3. Number of posts indicated above are tentative which may increase or decrease.
4. Maximum age limit for the post in T-6 Grade / Cat.III is 18 to 35 years, T-3 Grade / Cat. II and T-1 Grade/ Cat. I is 18 to 30 years and Steno Grade-III is 18 to 27 years. Upper age limit relaxation upto 5 years for ST candidate, 3 years for OBC candidate and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. There will be no age limit for ICAR employees in technical category and The maximum age limit for the ICAR employees (Administrative Category) will be as per ICAR norms i.e. 45 years with qualification as on closing date of receipt of application.
5. Crucial date for determining the age limit of candidates for each post will be as on 1/1/2011
6. Persons already in employment should route their applications through proper channel only. In case a candidate anticipates delay in forwarding of his / her application through proper channel, he / she must send an advance copy of the application along with fee which must reach this office on or before the closing date.
7. The prescribed qualifications are minimum and enhanced qualification do not entitle candidates to be called for written test/trade test/interview. Where the number of applications received in response to advertisement is large and it will not be convenient OR possible for the Institute to call for test/interview to all candidates, the Director, IARI, New Delhi reserves the right to fix the criteria for calling the candidates. After screening the applications the candidates may be called for written test/trade test/Interview.
8. Applications should be submitted in the prescribed proforma strictly typed/hand written. Candidates before applying for the post(s) must satisfy that they are eligible to apply and fulfill the criteria / essential qualification / age etc. prescribed for the post (s). ATTESTED COPIES OF THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTS ARE TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION such as Educational qualification/Age/Caste Certificates etc. If any information furnished by the candidates is found false at any stage his/her appointment will be cancelled.
17. The Director, IARI, New Delhi reserves the right to cancel the recruitment to any posts without assigning any reason thereof.
