1. ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (HRD) / SENIOR MANAGER (TRAINING)
No. of Vacancies : 2
Reservation : General Turn-1; BC-1(other than BC Muslim)
Qualification : Candidates should possess two years full time Post Graduate Degree in Social Work with specialization in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations and Labour Welfare from Recognized University / Institute.

A Degree in Engineering and MBA from a recognized University. Knowledge in computers and computer applications in HR is preferable.
Age : As on 01/02/2011:
Minimum 42 years for Assistant General Manager (HRD) and 40 years for Senior Manager (Training)
Experience : For Assistant General Manager (HRD):
Minimum 18 years of experience as on 01/02/2011 in the executive cadre of an organization of repute. Candidates will be required to deal with all Personnel functions including Contract Labour Administration and various Community Development activities under CSR.
For Senior Manager (Training):
Minimum 15 years of experience as on 01/02/2011 in the executive cadre of an organization of repute. Candidates will be required to handle all Training and Development activities, monitor progress of company trainees, Act Apprentices and will be responsible for implementing various management initiatives and to set up a HRD Centre.
2. MANAGER (PULP)

3. ASSISTANT PLANT ENGINEER (ENVIRONMENT)

Qualification : Candidates should possess First Class Degree in Engineering with an aggregate of 65% of marks and PG Degree / PG Diploma in Environment Engineering.
Age limit : Maximum age as on 01/02/2011
MBC/DNC-32 years; SC-35 years
Experience : Should have minimum 2 years of experience as on 01/02/2011 in the operation and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant. Candidates should be well versed with statutory provisions under Water Act, Air Act, Environmental Protection Act, etc. will be required to interact with Government Agencies, General Public on Environmental issues. Experience in a large sized process industry will be preferred.
4. ASSISTANT PLANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Qualification : Candidates should possess First Class B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering with an aggregate of 65% of marks. Persons possessing P.G. in Civil Engineering will be preferred.

5. ASSISTANT OFFICER (ACCOUNTS) / OFFICER (ACCOUNTS)

Working experience in an ERP environment with exposure to IFRS is preferred.

About TNPL
The Company commenced production in the year 1984 with an initial capacity of 90,000 tonnes per annum. TNPL has started the commercial production of newsprint on its new Paper Machine No. 2 from January 1996. The machine was supplied jointly by Voith Sulzer Paper Technology [6] and its licensee in India, Larsen and Toubro Limited and has opened up new vistas for newsprint making. The machine is designed to run with 100% bagasse. Over the years, the production capacity has been increased to 2,45,000 tonnes per annum and the Company has emerged as the Largest bagasse based Paper Mill in the world consuming about one million tones of bagasse every year. The Company is in the process of implementing the Mill Expansion Plan for increasing the capacity to 4,00,000 tonnes per annum from July 2010.
