Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank Call Letter for Written Examination Duplicate


Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank invites application for the following posts:

CALL LETTERS FOR THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION: Call letter for written examination will be sent to the eligible candidates at the address for correspondence given in their application form by ordinary post and requests for sending letters to a different address subsequently will not be accepted.

All eligible candidates will be issued call letters at the correspondence address given by the candidates in their application form, which will be sent by ordinary post. Eligible candidates who do not receive the call letter by (i) 06-06-2011 for Post Code-01 “Officer MMGS-III, Post Code-02 “Officer MMGS-II”, Post Code-03 “Officer JMGS I and (ii) 30-05-2011 for Post Code 4: Office Assistant (Multipurpose)” may download the duplicate call letter from our Bank’s website www.apgbank.com by entering his/her details, between the following dates:

Post Code-1 Officer MMGS-III from 07.06.2011 to 11.06.2011 
Post Code 2 Officer MMGS-II from 07.06.2011 to 11.06.2011 
Post Code-3 Officer JMGS-I from 07.06.2011 to 11.06.2011 
Post Code-4 Office Assistant from 31.05.2011 to 04.06.2011

In case of difficulty in downloading the duplicate call letter, a candidate should contact the concerned Offices of the Bank located at the concerned centre, he/she has opted for at the address given below:

Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank came into existence from 1.06.06 by amalgamating Rayalaseema Grameena Bank, Sri Anantha Grameena Bank and Pinakini Grameena Bank consequent upon the Government of India Notification dt.1.6.06. The Bank is constituted under Regional Rural Banks Act 1976. The Bank is having its Head Office at KADAPA with a jurisdiction of 5 districts namely Kadapa, Kurnool, Ananthapur, Nellore and Prakasam. The Bank is having 5 Regional offices with its Head quarters at each district Head Quarters. The Bank is having 372 branches and 3 Extension counters. The Bank is catering to the needs of Rural Poor mainly and to all other sectors also. The Bank has been playing a pivotal role in economic development of its operational area by outreaching the people in the countryside. The Bank stood First in earning Net profit as on 31.03.2010 among all RRBs in the country. 
The entire area of operation of the Bank, which is mostly in Rayalaseema region, is characterized by drought and backwardness. About 75% of the population in the area lives in countryside. The soils are mostly black and red, about 75% of the area is rainfed and farmers depend on rainfed crops. Under Irrigation sources viz., canals, tanks, borewells etc., the major crops grown are paddy, cotton(hybrid), chillies, vegetables, horticulture crops like banana, papaya, sweet orange, mango etc., and under rainfed conditions the major crops grown are ground nut, jowar, bengalgram, sun-flower, coriander, tobacco, etc. The area is rich in minerals viz., barites, limestone, granite, black and colour slabs, slates etc.
