Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34,800+ G.P. Rs. 4600/- and other allowances

HOW TO APPLY:-

Alongwith the application form candidates must enclose a Treasury Challan of Rs.80/- for General candidates and Rs. 20/- for APST candidates under the Head of Account 0051-PSC to be drawn at Itanagar (which is non-refundable) in favour of the Secretary , Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Itanagar, and 3(three) nos. of recent passport size photographs dully self attested and copies of documents in support of Age, Educational Qualification, Experience, Tribe etc. 

LAST DATE FOR RECEIVING OF APPLICATION:-

The last date of receiving application by the Commission is upto 25.03.2011 till 4.00 P.M.

METHOD OF SELECTION:-

The eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Written Examination to be conducted by the Commission consisting of the following subjects which will be followed by Viva Voce Test.

(1) General English - 100 Marks.

(2) General Studies - 100 Marks

(3) One Optional Subject

(Economics/Statistics/

.Mathematics/Commerce - 100 Marks

(4) Viva-voce Test - 40 Marks

Total - 340 Marks

The candidates securing a minimum of 33% of marks in each written examination paper and 45% marks in aggregate of the total marks in the written examination papers will be eligible for Viva Voce Test.

The selection will be made on the basis of performances in the written examination and the Viva Voce Test.

Application Form other than that the one procured from the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Itanagar will be summarily rejected. No duplicate or typed out Form will be entertained. Application Forms not fulfilling the following conditions and the conditions given in the application forms shall be rejected. Application once rejected shall not be reaccepted.

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is a Constitutional body constituted with effect from 1st April 1988 under Article-315 of the Constitution of India vide Notification OM-15/88 dated 29th March 1988. The Commission advice the Government of Arunachal Pradesh on all matters relating to state civil services and publish notifications inviting applications for selection to various posts as per the requisitions of the appointing authorities, conduct written tests and interview, prepare ranked list based on the performance of the candidates and advice candidates for appointing strictly based on their merit and observing the rules of reservation as and when vacancies are reported.
