The following staff in the Mewat Engineering College (Wakf), village Palla, Tehsil Nuh, Distt. Mewat (Haryana) is required :-
1) Professor (04 posts)
One each in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
and Electronic Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering and Computer Sciences & Engineering in the pay scale of ` 37,400-67,000 (Minimum pay of ` 48,000)+AGP ` 10,500 Pay Band-4.
Qualification : (i) Essential : Ph.D with first class at the preceding degrees or equivalent in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology and a minimum of 10 years experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/ Reader. OR (ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential: 1. First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg., & Tech.; 2. Significant professional work which can be recognized* as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of Engg., & Tech., and industrial / professional experience of ten years, out of which at least five years at a senior level of Assistant Professor / Reader. (iii) Desirable: (1) Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; (2) Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books, and / or technical reports; (3) Experience of guiding the project work / dissertation of PG / Research Students or supervising R&D projects in industry; (4) Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and / or professional activities; and (5) Capacity to undertake / lead sponsored R&D, consultancy and related activities.
2) Reader (02 posts)
One each in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering) in the pay scale of 15,600-39,100 Pay Band-3 (Minimum pay of Rs 30,000 with Ph.D. or `25,000 without Ph.D )+AGP ` 8,000/-On completion of 3 years service as Reader with Ph.D shall move to Pay Band-4 (` 37400-67000) with AGP of ` 9000/-.
Qualification : (i) Essential : Ph.D. degree with the First Class degree at Bachelor's or Master's level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology 3 Years experience in Teaching/Industry/ Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent. OR (ii) First Class Degree at Master's level in the appropriate branch of Engineering./Technology with 5 years experience in Teaching/Industry at the level of lecturer or equivalent. Such candidate will be required to obtain Ph.D. degree within a period of 5 years from the date of appointment as Reader.
Note: (a) candidate who does not possess a Ph.D. degree and fails to complete the said degree within a period of 5 years from the date of appointment as Reader, his/her increment will be stagnated (stopped) from that date onwards till he /she completes the degree and will be restored w.e.f. the date he/she is awarded the Ph.D. degree. (b) The candidates who have applied earlier for the post of Reader need not apply.
3) Lecturer (13 posts)
(a) Civil Engineering-1, (b) Mechanical Engineering-1, (c) Electrical and Electronics Engineering-2, (d) Electronics and Communication Engineering-2, (e) Computer Sciences & Engineering-2, (f) Mathematics with computer background-1, (g) Economics with management- 1, (h) Physics-1, (i) Chemistry-1 and (j) English-1 in the pay scale of ` 15,600-39,100 +AGP ` 6,000/7000 Pay Band-3.
Qualification : For (a) to (e) above (i) Essential : First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology. (ii)
Desirable: (1) Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; (2) Papers presented at Conferences and / or in refereed journals. For (f) to (j) above Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the Master's degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National eligibility test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. Ph.D. degree is highly desirable.
4) Technical Assistant (04 posts)
One each in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Sciences and Engineering on consolidated salary of ` 15,000/- per month on purely contractual basis.
Qualification and Experience : Diploma in Engineering with one years experience in the relevant field after obtaining Diploma. OR B.Sc. with two year experience in the relevant field after obtaining degree.
5) Laboratory Assistants: (05 posts)
Mechanical Engineering-2, Electrical and Electronics Engineering-1, Electronics and Communication Engineering-1, Computer Sciences & Engineering-1 on consolidated salary of ` 10,000/- per month on purely contractual basis.
Qualification and Experience : High School with Trade Certificate from I.T.I with one year experience in the relevant field. OR Secondary School Certificate (Class XII) (Science) with two years experience in the relevant field.
6) Library Assistant: (02 posts)
Qualification and Experience : Bachelor in Library Sciences with two year experience in the relevant field on consolidated salary of ` 15,000/- per month on purely contractual basis.
7) Library Attendant: (02 posts)
Qualification and Experience : Certificate in Library sciences after passing Secondary School Certificate/high school with working knowledge of library on consolidated salary of ` 8,000/- per month on purely contractual basis.
