Applications for the following posts under Self-Financing Scheme are invited on the prescribed application form obtainable alongwith prescribed qualifications and instructions from the Manager, Printing & Publications, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra on payment of Rs.500/-(Rs.125/- for SC/ST/BC of Haryana) in cash at the counter or by post by sending Demand Draft of Rs.550/- (Rs.175/- for SC/ST/BC of Haryana) drawn in favour of Registrar, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. The application form can also be downloaded from Website: http//www.kuk.ac.in Such forms must be accompanied with Demand Draft for the amount of application fee applicable to the relevant category in favour of Registrar, KUK.

The applicants who have applied earlier for the posts of Lecturer /Assistant Professors under Self-Financing Scheme vide Advt.No.1/2008 & 4/2009 are required to apply afresh on the prescribed Proforma. However, their application fee deposited earlier will be refunded on request.
Application Forms complete in all respects for the posts should reach the Deputy Registrar (Estt.T) Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra-136119 latest by 25.03.2011.

About Kurukshetra University
Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 in Kurukshetra in Haryana, India, situated 160 km from Delhi, and member of Association of Commonwealth Universities[1] The Kurukshetra University was the dream of the then Punjab Governor, Sir Chandeshwar Prasad Narayan Singh, a great Sanskrit scholar, who wanted to set up an institute to promote Indian culture and traditions.[2] Department of Sanskrit was the first and the only department in university when it was inaugurated by India's first President, Dr.Rajendra Prasad. Its campus is spread over 400 acres (1.6 km2).
