The Indian School of Mines, established in 1926 offers B.Tech in Chemical, Computer Science & Engg, Electrical, Electronics, Environmental, Mechanical, Mineral, Mining, Mining Machinery,. and Petroleum Engineering, and M.Tech, MSc, MSc.Tech, MPhil, MBA and Ph.D programs in the areas of Engineering, Earth Sciences, Basic & Applied Sciences, Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, invites application from Indian nationals for the following positions:
1) Librarian
Total Number of posts: 01-UR
Pay Scale : PB-4: Rs.37400-67000/- + Grade Pay : Rs.10,000/-

Prescribed application forms may be obtained from the office of the Asst. Registrar (Estt), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad-826 004 by sending crossed demand draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines , along with a self-addressed stamped (Rs.50/-) envelope of 30 cmx12cm size. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying application fee and provision for reservation of SC/ST/PH/OBC will be applicable as per Government of India Rules. Candidates called for the interview will be paid sleeper class railway fare by the shortest route as per rules. About Indian School of Mines (ISM)
Indian School of Mines (ISM) is a fully residential and co-educational university located in the mineral-rich belt of India in the city of Dhanbad, Jharkhand. It was established in 1926 on the lines of Royal School of Mines, London and in 1967, ISM was converted into an autonomous institution with the Deemed-to-be University status. Today, it is a multi-disciplinary institute catering to a wide range of engineering and scientific disciplines and is considered among the best engineering institutes in the country.
