Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar invites application for the following posts:Positions:
A position of Junior / Senior Research Fellow (JRF / SRF) in the DST Sponsored Project “Synthesis of Some New Cationic Amphiphiles and Evaluation of their Surface and Biological Properties” under the supervision of Dr. Sukhprit Singh, Principal investigator (P.I.) is available for three years / term of the project, which ever is earlier. The interested candidates should apply before March 15, 2011.
Eligibility:
1. A post graduate (PG) degree in chemistry with 55% marks and NET qualified for JRF.
2. A post graduate and a two year research experience as JRF for SRF.
Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/- p.m. fixed for JRF (NET qualified)
Rs. 18,000/- p. m. fixed for SRF
Rs. 12,000/- p.m. fixed for JRF (NET qualified for Lectureship))
The selected candidate shall be eligible for HRA as per Central Govt. / Guru Nanak Dev University Rules.
Guru Nanak Dev University, or GNDU, was established at Amritsar, India on November 24, 1969 to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev's birth quincentenary celebrations. Guru Nanak Dev University campus is spread over 500 acres (2 km²) near village of Kot Khalsa, some eight kilometer west of the Amritsar City on Amritsar - Lahore highway, next to Khalsa College, Amritsar.
