Assistant Administrative Officer (Director’s Office): (01) post (Reserved for OBC) - Pay Band (PB-II) Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs. 4600.
Eligibility :
Qualification & Experience:
Essential: Graduate with 50% marks and additional experience of 5 years in the Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 or equivalent in the appropriate administrative level will be required. Proficiency in use of computer in office administration.
Desirable: Shorthand writing of 100 w.p.m. & typing of 50 w.p.m. corresponding to computer typing speed of 15000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.
Age Limit : Below 40 years. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules.

The Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP) is an institution of basic research and training in physical and biophysical sciences located in Bidhannagar, Kolkata, India. The institute is named after the famous Indian physicist Meghnad Saha.
The Palit Research Laboratory used to be a laboratory under the Department of Physics in the University of Calcutta. Meghnad Saha became the Palit Professor of Physics at the University of Calcutta in 1938. Realizing the ensuing importance of nuclear physics, he reorganized the curriculum to include nuclear physics and commissioned some necessary instruments. Soon the necessity of a small-scale cyclotron was felt.
