Recruitment of Civil and Electronics & Communication Engineers.

The company invites application from eligible Indian citizens for regular posts of Assistant Manager(Civil) and Assistant Manager(Sig. & Tele.) as detailed below:

1) Assistant Manager/Civil

Scale(E3) Rs. 24900-50500(IDA)

Total Posts – 15
(UR-8, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-4)

Qualification: 
Degree in Civil Engg. from a recognized institute with not less than 60% marks in aggregate. If any University awards grades instead of marks, applicants should clearly mention the numerical equivalent of the grades in terms of aggregate marks and then write percentage scored out of aggregate marks.

Born not before: UR- 01.04.1981
SC/ST - 01.04.76 & OBC – 01.04.78

Post Qualification Experience: 
(As on 01.04.2011)

Minimum 3(three) years experience of execution of works for Construction of Bridges/Roads/ Railways.

2) Assistant Manager/Sig. & Tele.

Scale(E3) Rs. 24900-50500(IDA)

Total Posts – 15*
(UR-8, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-4)
* One post out of these is reserved for PH candidates having disability in one arm only.

Post Qualification Experience: 
Minimum 3(three) years experience in electronics and communication engineering works.

Age concession:
a) Age is relaxable by 10 years for PH applicants (total 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC) as per Govt. of India instructions. If suitable candidates from PH does not qualify the selection, the post will be filled up from suitable candidates of other communities and backlog of PH will be carried forward to the next recruitment.

b) For domiciles of J&K: Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of J&K during the period 01.01.80 to 31.12.1989 provided certificate for the same issued by BDO/SDO is attached with the application.

Exam fees (Non-refundable): Rs.500 for UR & OBC applicants. No application fee is required for SC/ST/PH candidates provided photocopies of SC/ST/disability certificate is enclosed with application. The fee should be paid by DD with a validity period of 6 months drawn in favour of DFCCIL payable at New Delhi. Candidate should write Name, Post Applied for, Mailing Address and Mobile No., in Capital Letters on the reverse side of Demand Draft.

Selection Process: Written test followed by interview of shortlisted candidates. Written test may be held at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai depending upon the response received for each centre.

Place of Posting: In the projects/offices of the company.

Career prospects: Engineers are the core category of the company and have promising opportunities for promotion to higher grades.

Medical standards: A-3 medical category standards as detailed in Chapter-V of Indian Railway Medical Manual Vol.-I, which can be accessed at www.indianrailways.gov.in.

Perks: HRA or liberal lease rent, medical, LTC, basket of allowances with cafeteria approach and other fringe benefits. Performance Related Pay (PRP) and superannuation benefits schemes are also in the offing.

How to Apply: Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility as on 01.04.2011 may submit their application in the prescribed format which can either be hand written in Bold capitals or type written in A4 size Paper only. The Candidates are advised to strictly follow the Application Format and the same may be downloaded from DFCCIL’s website www.dfccil.org and fill-up the same in ENGLISH LANGUAGE only. Instructions:
1) Application on A4 size paper as per format given below will be entertained only through ordinary post at Post Bag. The applications sent through courier/speed post/registered post will not be accepted under any circumstances since the same are not accepted at Post Bag Address by the postal authorities.

2) SC/ST/PH/OBC/J&K domicile proof to be enclosed by applicants belonging to these groups. PH applicants to enclose copy of disability certificate issued by a prescribed medical authority. Their disability should be in one arm only and not less than 40%. Other types of disabilities are not acceptable for these posts.

3) Only candidates having OBC certificate for the current financial year in the format prescribed by Central Govt. will be given the benefit of OBC reservation. The requisite OBC certificate has to be produced at the time of interview.

4) Self attested copies of experience certificate which should clearly indicate dates of working should be enclosed by applicants.

5) Certificate in proof of age or educational qualifications should not be attached at this stage but candidates should satisfy themselves thoroughly about their eligibility in all respects before applying.

6) Candidates may keep photo copy of application and demand draft sent for future record.

7) Candidature will be cancelled at any stage of recruitment process or after recruitment or joining if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or is not found in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.

8) Applicants should clearly indicate their order of preference for 2 examination centers, out of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai for Written Test in the application format.

9) Application not submitted in the prescribed format and not accompanied with the requisite documents/fee will be summarily rejected. 10) Candidates working in Govt./PSUs/autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel or produce NOC from employer at the time of interview.

11) The envelope containing the application should be superscribed “Application for the post of………………………………….2011”. One envelope should contain only one application and a Demand Draft.

12) Journey fare for appearing in the written test will not be admissible.

The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) is a corporation run by the Government of India to undertake planning & development, mobilisation of financial resources and construction, maintenance and operation of the Dedicated Freight Corridors. DFCC has been registered as a company under the Companies Act 1956 on 30 October 2006. DFCCIL has been designated by Government of India as a `special purpose vehicle`, and has been created to undertake planning & development, mobilization of financial resources and construction, maintenance and operation of the Dedicated Freight Corridors. Under the Eleventh Five Year Plan of India(2007–2012), Ministry of Railways is constructing a new Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) covering about 2762 route km long two routes - the Eastern Corridor from Ludhiana to Dankuni and the Western Corridor from Jawahar Lal Nehru Port, at Nhava Sheva near Mumbai to Tughlakabad, Delhi/Dadri along with interlinking of two corridors at Khurja. Upgrading of transportation technology, increase in productivity and reduction in unit transportation cost are the focus areas for the project.
