NTC Limited is a major Schedule ‘A” Central Public Sector Undertaking having Textile Mills and other Offices spread across the country. The Company engaged in manufacturing and marketing of Clothes and Yarn both in domestic and international markets, offers challenging career opportunities to professionals and in currently in the lookout for qualified and experienced professionals in relevant disciplines for recruitment on regular basis as per details given below. Experience is not a pre-requisite for the post of Management Trainees.
1. COMPENSATION SYSTEM:
In addition to basic pay of the Pay Scale, the Executives are also entitled to DA on IDA pattern, Company accommodation / HRA/ Conveyance / Conveyance allowance as applicable from time to time. Besides, other normal facilities and benefits such as EPF, Gratuity, Medical reimbursement, leave encashment, LTC, etc as per Rules also will be available. The company is in the process of implementing the various components of 2nd PRC as circulated by the DPE.
Selected Management trainees will be placed on the scale of pay, after successful completion of training for a period of six months. During the training period, a consolidated stipend of Rs.10000/- will be paid. The training period will be subject to extension, in the event of not attaining desired performance levels.
2. HIGHER START:
In the cases of exceptionally deserving candidates, Management may consider a higher start of pay, (excluding Management Trainees) for candidates possessing higher qualifications, special relevant experience and in consideration of the emoluments drawn in the previous employment, etc. on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
The Eligible candidates short-listed based on initial scrutiny will be called for test and or interview. Suitable instructions in this regard will be sent to the candidates individually. Out-station candidates called for interview will be paid eligible train fare by the shortest route on production of proof of journey as per rules of the Company.

About National Textile Corporation Limited (NTC)
National Textile Corporation is a company owned by the Indian government. It owns many textile mills, some of which have been closed down. The company was incorporated in April 1968.
The National Textile Corporation Limited (NTC) is a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Textiles which was incorporated in April 1968 for managing the affairs of sick textile undertakings, in the private sector, taken over by the Government. Starting with 16 mills in 1968, this number gradually rose to 103 by 1972-73. In the year 1974 all these units were nationalized under the Sick Textile Undertakings (Nationalization) Act 1974. The number of units increased to 119 by 1995. These 119 mills were controlled by NTC(HC) Ltd with the help of 9 subsidiary Corporations, with an authorized capital of 10 crore (US$2.22 million) which was raised from time to time and which is now 5,000 crore (US$1.11 billion)[3] and the paid up share capital of the corporation is 3,062.16 crore (US$679.8 million) as on March 31,2010.
Looking to the reduced number of mills and in line with the contemporary industry’s trend all 9 subsidiary companies have been merged with NTC-HC making it into a single Company w.e.f. 01.04.2006.
