Punjab National Bank (PNB)SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The selection will be through Written Test and/or Interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms would not entitle a candidate to be called for Test or Interview. The Bank may call only the requisite number of candidates after preliminary screening/short-listing with reference to the candidates’ qualifications, suitability, etc.
The Written Test will be held on Sunday, 19th June 2011 at the centres mentioned at point No. 10
The Written Test will be Objective and Descriptive type. The questions in objective test Paper will be printed in bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi except for the Test of English. The written test will include Objective Tests of Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Marketing & Computer and Descriptive Test in English Composition.
CALL LETTERS FOR THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION
The date of the Written Test is TENTATIVELY FIXED as 19.06.2011. However, it will be intimated in the Call Letter along with the Centre/Venue address for the Examination, well in advance of the date of the Written Examination.
PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING CALL LETTERS FOR ATTENDING WRITTEN TEST:
All eligible candidates will be required to download their call letter and the Information Handout from the Bank’s website www.pnbindia.in- Link (Recruitment) tentatively from 04.06.2011. Candidates should note that the call letters will not be sent through POST / COURIER etc.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) is the leading profit making public sector bank. Currently, there are 3.5 crore customers taking service from this bank.
