WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR RESIDENT DOCTORS

NLC Ltd., a leading Public Sector Enterprise, under the Ministry of Coal, earning profit over three decades and poised for rapid growth in terms of Mining activities and Power generation, requires young and dynamic Medical Professionals for the following posts on tenure basis for Three years duration for its General Hospital.
1) Senior Resident
Upper Age Limit *
(As on 01-04-2011)
Should not have completed 30 Years
Qualification: Pass in MBBS with completion of CRRI with PG Degree / Diploma in Emergency medicine /General medicine / Diabetology / Paediatrics /Obstetrics & Gynaecology / ENT / Radiology /Anaesthesiology / Orhopaedics / Ophthalmology /Psychiatry and should have registered with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council of MBBS Degree and Post Gradute Degree /Diploma course.
2) Junior Resident
Upper Age Limit *
(As on 01-04-2011)
Should not have completed 28 Years
Qualification: Pass in MBBS with completion of CRRI and should have registered with the Medical Council of India /State Medical Council.
Total No. of posts : 17
* Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST & 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy Layer). Persons with disabilities are entitled for relaxation of upper age limit by 5 years (in addition to relaxation entitled to various reserved categories). Ex-servicemen and employees of PSU / Government Organisations will be considered for age relaxation, as applicable.
Method of Selection: Selection will be based on Personal Interview.
General Conditions:
1. Reservation of posts and other concessions for SC / ST / OBC (Non-creamy Layer) / Physically Disabled candidates shall be as per rules.
2. Candidates working in PSE/Govt./Quasi Govt. should produce NOC at the time of interview.
3. Depending on response and requirement the management reserves the right to raise / relax the eligibility conditions.

Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited (NLC) is a government-owned lignite mining and power generating company in India. NLC operates the largest open-pit lignite mines in India, presently mining 24 MT of lignite and has an installed capacity of 2490 MW of electricity per year. It also supplies a large quantity of sweet water to Chennai from the artesian aquifers in the lignite mines. On 11-Apr-2011, it joined the elite group of Navratna Companies. In 1956 NLC was formed as a Corporate body.
NLC is listed on BSE:513683 as well as NSE:NEYVELI LIG. The Union Government holds 93% shares of NLC and is administered through Ministry of Coal. NLC earned turn over of Rs 4689 crorewith a net profit of Rs 1247 crore in the financial year 2009-2010.
