UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2011 Venue Information

UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2011  is scheduled to be held on Sunday, the 12th June, 2011 

   The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is used to conduct examinations for various civil services in India. It is authorized by the constitution. The UPSC was first set up on 1st October 1926 by the then British Government in India. Union Public Service Commission conducts examinations for the recruitment of various civil services posts through competitive exams. The President of India only appoints the Chairman and the other members of the UPSC. The members of the UPSC should have a minimum of ten years work experience in central or state service.
