PSL : `9300 –34800/-, Grade Pay `4200/-, (PB-2) 

E.Q. : Second class B. Sc. (Hons.) or B. Sc. with Zoology with not less than 55% of marks in aggregate

D.Q. : (i) Experience in arranging Zoological exhibits of a museum / experience in field collection of exhibits.

(ii) Aptitude in Systematic Zoology

I.P. : ZSI, Kolkata for 02 posts (SC-01, ST-01),

ZSI, A&NRC, Port Blair for 01 post (OBC),

ZSI, EBC, Ganjam, Orissa for 01 post (SC), with AISL

J.R. : (i) Maintenance and development of collection, (ii) Field Surveys, (iii) Research work on problem assigned, (iv) Sorting & Identification of Zoological Specimens, (v) Labelling and Registration of identified specimens, (vi) Card cataloguing of collection, (vii) Preparation of sectional report, (viii) Attending to scientific enquiries, relating to the sections, (ix) Maintenance of sectional Stores & Stationary articles, (x) Maintenance of record of incoming & outgoing specimens, (xi) Preparation of reference cards, (xii) Any other work assigned
