About UPSC
The Union Public Service Commission is formed under the constitution of India for the purpose to carry out examination for appointment of various civil services posts of the Union. The constitution of India has provided an individual public service commission for each state. The Public Service Commission was first started on October 1 1926 by the British Indian government to provide superior Civil Services to the people of India. Despite of the functions of advisory, due its limitations the union public service commission failed to accomplish the needs and demands of the Indian politicians and the political parties who were related to the freedom struggle of the country.
